Turntable Render with Cycles - Blender
This piece was created for an assignment themed around nostalgia. Growing up, Lilo & Stitch was one of my favorite shows, and Stitch — with his weirdly cute charm — always stood out to me. I’ve often found the Disney-style “cute” character design challenging, so this project was my way of tackling that head-on.
I began by blocking out a T-pose in Blender, then sculpted the high-poly details using a SubD modeling workflow. The base mesh from the blockout was used as the low-poly version. After UV unwrapping in Blender, I baked utility maps in Marmoset Toolbag and completed the texturing in Substance 3D Painter.
The final result was rendered in Blender using the Cycles render engine, with subdivisions enabled to bring out high-res details. I posed Stitch in a playful, charming pose to capture the essence of his mischievous personality.
